After two weeks in bottle, I cracked the lid of one of the beers we made. As we weren’t very organised in our bottling process, I was not sure whether I had opened the IPA or the APA. The beer showed a bit green, and was thinner and less sweet that I would have liked. But it went down well. Moderate fizz. Somewhat cloudy.
Obviously the beer will keep on maturing in the bottle, and I have a few in the crate, so I will keep tasting to see how it changes over time. I am impressed with my first-time efforts, nonetheless.
