I wish
Here are a couple that got away from me at today’s Dunbar Sloan Fine Wine Auction:
An ’81 Petrus on the left, sold to someone else for $500. The ’93 on the right sold for $700. Chortle…
I left behind an cheap absentee bid for a couple of ’92 Ata Rangi Celebre’s and a 2010 Trinity Hill Homage, so we will see if I prevail…
…the next day, I didn’t…

Petrus for $500 is a steal…
Who says it’s real…and only got 90 pts…
I didn’t think of authenticity – this is very sad that this can be a problem. But points? Seriously? If buying to drink, why would points matter? This is Petrus! If buying as an investment – yes, I see this might be an issue, but still.,,
whoever bought it I hope they would drink it. Would be a shame otherwise…I would! And would invite wineloving friends over as well!
